Laura has developed her legal career across Colombia, Spain and the United Kingdom, focusing on intellectual property and art law. In the private sector, she has advised creators, designers, and different art market participants. Her public sector experience includes working in the Legal Secretariat of Bogot\u00e1 and with entities of the Colombian government, where she contributed to the creation of intellectual property policies and monitored the country’s international commitments to organizations such as the OECD and the World Bank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Her academic research focuses on artists’ rights and fair remuneration alternatives. Her research has contributed to the understanding of resale rights in Latin America by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the Andean Community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
