Luis Barber

Expert in Corporate Commercial Law and a litigator specializing in complex matters. Corporate Governance in Boards of Directors. Head of Special Situations and Restructuring and insolvency.

He has over 25 years of professional career, where he started as banking lawyer at Caja Insular de Ahorros de Canarias’ Large Corporates and Investment Department. He has acted as legal advisor and Insolvency administrator in over 75 insolvency processes, some of them quite complex. He is an Insolvency law professor at the Master’s Degree in Legal Practice from Business Law School ISDE (Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía), and a regular speaker In seminars and congresses on corporate commercial and Insolvency law.

Luis holds a Law Degree from the Deusto University (Bilbao) and a Master in Tax Law.

He is specialised In Corporate Governance for Directors from Sagardoy Business & Law School

He is a member of the Illustrious Bar Association of Las Palmas.
