Our Of Counsel, Juan Manuel de Castro, Judge on leave of absence, expert in restructuring and insolvency, participated last 6 June in I National Congress AEMPI, on restructuring and insolvency, in the round table to discuss about “Challenging restructuring plans: grounds for challenge in light of key judicial rulings: Xeldist, Das Photonics. The role of the expert in restructuring and expert reports", with peers Maria del Mar Hernández Rodríguez, Ana Jiménez Martín and Dolores Alemany Pozuelo.
During his speech Juan Manuel de Castro stated that “the establishment of five avenues for challenging restructuring plans complicates the system of applicability and coordination of the various grounds established in the law." Also, our expert lawyer at Kepler-Karst said: “There are various gaps in the regulation that give rise to doubts about the correct interpretation of the rules for challenging of the plans.
