Our sovereign debt expert, Professor Dr. Rodrigo Olivares-Caminal is one of the co-authors of the book "Understanding Sovereign Debt. Options and Opportunities for Africa". The second edition was launched by the African Legal Support Facility in collaboration with the @nternational Monetary Fund, last week during the IMF_WB annual meetings in Washington DC.
This book provides insights and practical strategies for navigating sovereign debt challenges in Africa, with lessons that can be applicable to many countries outside the region. It has become a worldwide reference in the field of sovereign debt.
Rodrigo is a Professor of Banking and Finance Law at Queen Mary University of London and an international consultant for several multilateral institutions in Washington D.C. and Europe, Central Banks and Sovereign States.
